Era prácticamente un secreto a voces y finalmente se ha producido. Microsoft ha revelado que tanto Xbox One como Xbox Series X/S reciben desde hoy mismo una nueva y enorme cantidad de títulos retrocompatibles para su catálogo. La compañía se ha mantenido en esta línea desde el 2015 y ha continuado apostando por sumar más obras a la biblioteca.
"Las constantes solicitudes de títulos y mejoras específicos alentaron al equipo de compatibilidad con versiones anteriores a asociarse con los creadores originales para preservar miles de juegos de más de cuatro generaciones de Xbox", explica Peggy Lo, líder del grupo de retrocompatibilidad de Xbox.
Por lo tanto, tenemos ante nosotros decenas de obras de la Xbox original, que celebra su 20 aniversario, y de Xbox 360. En Xbox Series X/S contará con soporte para Auto HDR y los títulos de la primera Xbox tendrá un aumento de resolución. De hecho, los poseedores de una Xbox One X y una Xbox Series X verán aumentada la resolución hasta cuatro veces para dichos juegos, el triple para los jugadores de Xbox Series S y el doble en el caso de Xbox One S y Xbox One.

11 de estos títulos que llegan hoy también disfrutarán de FPS Boost, el formato de Xbox que aumenta la tasa de fotogramas original hasta los 60FPS. Otros 26, de los que ya podemos disfrutar en formato retrocompatible, también reciben este extra de FPS Boost. Aquí tienes la lista completa de obras:
