En todas las ferias importantes de videojuegos se suele realizar una ceremonia para nombrar a los mejores que han desfilado por ellas. En la Gamescom es algo que también se lleva haciendo año tras año y en esta edición, a pesar de que comienza oficialmente hoy mismo, ya se ha decidido cuáles han sido los ganadores en los Gamescom Awards 2019.
Al contrario que en otros eventos, aquí no existe la categoría del juego del año. Únicamente se centran en los diferentes géneros y plataformas para decidir cuál ha sido el mejor en cada una. Curiosamente ha quedado todo bastante repartido, ya que solo Dreams es el único que ha salido vencedor en dos categorías distintas.

Por lo demás, también destaca el premio a Blacksad: Under the Skin como el mejor juego de aventuras. DOOM Eternal, Concrete Genie o Roller Champions son otros de los títulos que se han llevado un galardón bajo el brazo, así que os dejamos con la lista completa a continuación:
